This annual workshop is open to anyone planning and preparing for art history field research. This workshop will offer:
- A look at strategies your colleagues use to manage their personal image archives
- An introduction to ethical image considerations
- Advice on making and editing photos in the field
- Ways to approach cataloging & archiving workflows to set yourself up well to use the images during your future writing, standalone teaching, and research
- Conversations about troubleshooting and organizing your archive, whether you’re looking for a simple solution or an in-depth cataloging system
We are pleased to announce that Trevor Brandt, Amanda Chacon, and Lex Ladge will join VRC staff as co-facilitators, sharing their experiences and advice throughout the workshop!
