Chat About: Tianjiao Wang is an exhibition in conjunction with the event Chat About: Chat About: Tianjiao Wang & Kavya Krishnamurthy + Snowy Iverson, Erin Gregory & Feifei Wang.
Tianjiao Wang is a second-year MFA student who works with photography and films. She believes that to see something is to study it, develop an affinity with it, and attempt to understand it. In her film Tread, she collaborated with artist Kendra Thornburgh-Mueller to explores the idea of loss and possession.
This exhibition is part of the 2023–24 Chat About x CWAC Exhibitions series. Chat About is a student-run open-critique hosted by graduate students and supported by the Department of Visual Arts and the Department of Art History. Beginning in 2024, Chat About collaborates with CWAC Exhibitions on exhibitions in conjunction with some Chat About events.
